Popcorn
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon salt if using unsalted butter
- ½ cup popcorn kernels
- ½ teaspoon lal mirch (cayenne pepper) or seasoning of your choice
- Turn on InstantPot to SAUTE mode
- Allow the InstantPot to read “HOT”
- Add the oil and butter into the pot
- Add salt if using unsalted butter and add in seasoning of your choice such as cayenne pepper
- Once butter and oil have melted, add in the popcorn kernels
- Stir the kernels to coat evenly with the mixture
- Spread kernels out over the bottom of the InstantPot
- Cover the InstantPot with a glass lid leaving a slight crack for ventilation-not too much or butter will fly out and could burn someone
- Once popping slows down to 1 pop per second, turn off the InstantPot
- When the popping stops, carefully open the glass lid being careful of stray kernels still popping
- Enjoy!
- Garnish with additional seasonings if you want such as parmesan, lime salt, white cheddar seasoning, etc
